ServicesSLD & Dyslexia
SLD, dyslexia & dyscalculia assessments.
I have particular expertise in cognitive and educational assessment, and I am the author of Does My Child Need Help? A Guide to Educational Assessments and Interventions. Assessments are available for children from age six, and for adults.

Wechsler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-III).

Reports for DARE, RACE & school supports.
Every assessment concludes with a full psychological report. In dyslexia and dyscalculia cases the report includes a psychometric summary, and — when relevant — DARE documents for the CAO application.
Reports are recognised for determining eligibility for the DARE scheme and access to third-level disability supports; some components can be included in State Examination Commission (RACE) applications. Reports also support learning-support allocation in primary and secondary schools, guidance on exemptions from the study of Irish, Assistive Technology grant applications to the NCSE, and NUI Psychologists’ Certification for language exemptions.
